  A: The replacement of the air compressor requires suspension and lift of the vehicle. You should disconnect the air tube from the air dryer after cleaning all components and the surrounding area to block dirt from entering the air system. Then remove the Air Hose from the air compressor. Begin by disconnecting power and removing both the flow inlet and hose from around the fuel filler neck bracket. Loosen the mounting nuts before moving the air compressor rearward so it clears frame slots for removal of the tool from the vehicle. To install the air compressor place it back inside the vehicle then push it forward while the fasteners insert into frame slots before securing the mounting nuts at 15 n.m (11 lb ft). Connect the air inlet hose to the fuel filler neck bracket then join the air tube to the air dryer. Reconnect the electrical connection. Before taking the wheel turn the ignition into the on position and let the air adjustable Shock Absorbers receive residual pressure during a 45-second waiting period.
