  A: The replacement process starts with removing both the oil level indicator and the oil level indicator tube bolt after which you should extract the oil level indicator tube. Verify the o-ring seal for any damage or cuts but it can stay in use when intact. You must detach the o-ring seal present on the tube if it is damaged beyond reuse. Apply oil to the o-ring seal before installing a brand new o-ring seal onto the oil level indicator tube when necessary. Mount the oil level indicator tube to run between Exhaust Manifold and engine block after raising and securely positioning the vehicle. Screw the oil level indicator tube into the block while making sure its collar remains straight with the block surface before lowering the vehicle. The oil level indicator gets installed after securing its tube bolt using 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.) torque and following up with installation of the oil level indicator itself.
