Chevrolet Avalanche 2500 Power Steering Hose Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to replace the Outlet Power Steering Hose on Chevrolet Avalanche 2500?
    A:
The first step for Brake Booster outlet hose replacement requires users to position a drain pan beneath the vehicle. The Brake Booster outlet hose needs to be detached from the Brake Booster before removing its securing clamp which holds it to the Power Steering Pump. The removal of the Brake Booster outlet hose must occur after both its removal from the Brake Booster and from the vehicle. Install the Brake Booster outlet hose by maintaining straight lines throughout the components to prevent damage from occurrence. Also ensure both inlet and outlet hoses avoid twisting during installation. Keep the new hose positioned the same way as the initial routing and install the Brake Booster outlet hose onto the Brake Booster with the clamp fixed near the hose terminus. Position the Brake Booster outlet hose on the Power Steering Pump and install its clamp at the end of the hose. The power steering system requires bleeding before finishing the work under the vehicle.
