How to replace the Ignition Control Module on Chevrolet Blazer?

You should first remove the electrical connector before replacing the ignition control module. After that, take out the 2 screws connecting the ignition control module and heat sink to the bracket, and take them off the bracket. Install the ignition control module and the heat sink by putting them back onto the bracket with the 2 screws, and then secure them by tightening to 3.5 N.m (31 lb in) as stated in the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. In the last step, attach the electrical connectors back.
