How to Remove and Replace the Body Control Module on Chevrolet Blazer?

Make sure the ignition is off when you remove or install the bcm connectors starting with brown pcm at first and ending with it last to prevent dtc settings. You must dispose of the lower and left instrument panel sound insulators before starting work. Slightly flex the snap retainers and lift the bcm off its bracket by tilting it away from the mount. Place the bcm underneath the wide hook side of the bracket at an angle with label toward rear while pushing left to meet base mounting until you hear a snap. Keep the parts fully engaged as both snap retainers click into position. Plug the electrical connectors into the bcm unit starting with all except the brown wire and complete with the brown connector last. Also place the instrument panel sound insulators back into position. Use techline terminal and a scan tool to set correct bcm calibrations and perform bcm programming while clearing dtcs.
