And for servicing and repairing the Clutch Disc, the first step would be to remove the manual transmission. Then remove the clutch Pressure Plate bolts and then try to remove the clutch Pressure Plate and driven disc from the dowel pins on the
Flywheel. For installation, apply the clutch alignment arbor (J33169) to align the clutch driven plate with the clutch
Pilot Bearing. Mount the clutch Pressure Plate and driven plate on the dowel pins on the Flywheel , and make sure they align because the gray paint spot on the Pressure Plate is to be aimed at x on the Flywheel . Tighten clutch Pressure Plate bolts , first finger tight and subsequently to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). Lastly, using the torque angle meter (J36660-A), while reattaching the clutch pressure, rotate the tension of bolts 45 degrees before fitting the manual transmission. It is worth noting that whenever changing the clutch driven plate, the truck's engine Flywheel must be replaced with the clutch Pressure Plate as a combination.
