How to replace the starter motor on Chevrolet Camaro?

A Starter motor replacement requires beginning with negative Battery Cable disconnection and Starter motor shield removal. Lower the Starter motor after you extract the Starter motor bolt along with its stud. First remove the positive cable nut at the Starter Solenoid before separating the positive cable from the Starter motor then removing the wiring harness Starter lead nut. Start by taking out the Starter lead along with its washer before removing the Starter motor. Start by mounting the Starter motor to establish electrical connections and afterward install the Starter lead with its washer. Begin by securing the wiring harness Starter lead nut to 2 n.m (17 lb in) torque value. Next, attach the positive cable to the Starter and use a torque wrench to tighten the positive cable Starter Solenoid nut to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Mount the Starter motor into place then secure the Starter motor bolt with 47 n.m (35 lb ft) torque while securing the stud with 45 n.m (33 lb ft). Complete the installation by adding the Starter motor shield then returning the negative cable to service.
