Use a fresh aluminum washer for backing lamp switch installation into the transmission tub where a 44 n.m (32 lb ft) torque setting secures it properly. After securing the pigtail to the transmission with the tie strap connect the back up lamp switch electrical connector at the pigtail and complete the repair by lowering the vehicle.
