How to replace the hazard and turn signal flasher on Chevrolet Equinox?

To replace the hazard and turn signal flasher, first remove the instrument panel (I/P) center trim bezel, and then remove the screws fastening the hazard and turn signal flasher switch to instrument panel plastic center stack, and remove the switch. Pull out the electrical connector of the switch. For the installation, line up the switch with the bezel trim and secure it in position by fastening the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in) per Fastener Notice in service Precautions. Next, reconnect the electrical connector to the hazard and turn signal flasher switch, reinstall I/P center trim bezel and then test the flasher switch for correct functioning.
