First, you should lift and support the hood and remove the air cleaner assembly from the car, to be able to replace the Cruise Control Module. Remove the cable for the Cruise Control Module and the electrical connector from the cruise module. After that, detach the two nuts holding the Cruise Control Module to the bracket of the cruise control and extract the module out of the bracket and from the vehicle structure. For installation, locate the vehicle and the vehicle cruise control bracket with the Cruise Control Module and attach it to the cruise control bracket but use the fastener notice in service precautions. Secure the module, tightening the two nuts to 5 n.m (44 lb in). Reattach cruise control cable end (b) and electrical connector back to Cruise Control Module, reinstall air cleaner assembly, and close hood.
