First loosen the clamp holding the maf/iat sensor to the air cleaner duct before removing the sensor bolts from the air cleaner assembly to extract the maf/iat sensor from its location. The maf/iat sensor installation process requires the installation of the sensor in the correct direction where the embossed arrow points towards the engine to show correct airflow. Mount the maf/iat sensor onto the air cleaner housing and fasten it with bolts tightened to 11 n.m (97 lb in). The maf/iat sensor clamp requires tightening before reconnecting the air cleaner assembly with air cleaner duct placement and attachment of the maf/iat electrical connector.
