  A: Start the process by opening and supporting the hood then taking out both components supporting the fender plus the bolt that secures the washer solvent container. From within the washer solvent container lift it higher to gain washer pump access and disconnect both electrical connector and washer hose from the washer pump. Put a washer pump cap on to stop solvent leakage. Lower the washer solvent container from the vehicle and empty it into a suitable container before you take apart the washer pump and washer solvent container cap. Insert the new washer pump unit into the washer solvent container and twist on the cover to retain it. Secure the electrical and washer hose lines to the new washer pump. Align the washer solvent container into its chassis mounting holes and fasten it with the bolt while turning for 10 N.m (89 lb in) torque. Replace the upper fender support while filling washer solvent into the container and finishing up with hood closure.
