First, raise and support the vehicle securely to replace the Exhaust Hanger in a dual exhaust system. Unbolt the transmission Exhaust Hanger, gently pry the hanger pin away from Exhaust Hanger insulator using a proper pry bar. Install exhaust pipe hanger pins on the Exhaust Hanger insulator and fix the Exhaust Hanger to the transmission after removing the hanger from the vehicle. Make sure to install the Exhaust Hanger bolts and torque them to 17 nm (13 ft. Lbs.). Lastly, ensure the exhaust system and position/ alignment of all components are appropriate before dropping the car.
