When replacing the Wheel Cylinder raise your vehicle then put safety stands under it before removing the tire and wheel. Place the park brake lever pin first then remove then
Brake Drums and shoes from the rear of the vehicle. Break the brake pipe connection from the rear brake cylinder and uninstall rear brake cylinder retaining bolts to remove the whole unit. Fit the new rear brake cylinder into position and attach it to the vehicle before screwing in both retaining bolts tightly to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). Secure the brake pipe to the rear brake cylinder while tightening it to 17 nm torque measurement (13 ft. Lbs.). Reinstall both
Brake Shoes and drums afterward and take out the park brake lever pin. Attach the tire and wheel before running the brake fluid out of the system to set up the park brake control if needed.
