Begin by inserting the pin through the park brake lever then proceed with removing the rear brake drums along with the rear brake shoes. To replace the Wheel Cylinder you must disconnect the brake pipe from the rear brake cylinder before removing the rear brake cylinder retaining bolts and pulling out the rear brake cylinder. Begin installation by connecting the rear brake cylinder to the vehicle then tighten rear brake cylinder retaining bolts to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). Secure the brake pipe to the rear brake cylinder while applying 17 nm (13 ft. Lbs.) of torque. Install the rear brake shoes while attaching the rear brake drums after detaching the pin from the park brake lever. Install the tire and wheel and complete brake system bleeding before adjusting the rear brakes along with the park brake.

Put the vehicle on ground level then apply the Brake Pedal 2/3 of its full stroke without starting the engine. Slowly release the pedal afterwards. Press the Brake Pedal twice for 15 seconds each time to let the brake components settle properly into their seats.
