How to service the Air Filter element on Chevrolet Impala?

In servicing the Air Filter, first turn off the ignition and disconnect the iat sensor electric connector, breather tube from the air intake duct, and maf sensor electric connector. Loose the air intake duct/maf sensor hose clamps, and carefully remove the air inlet hose off the Throttle Body and the air cleaner cover. Remove the 2 housing cover retaining clamps, away the air cleaner cover, and carefully remove the Air Filter. Examine the housing cover, seals assembly, and air ducting for possible damages. For installation, it is recommended to first insert the Air Filter into the air cleaner assembly, while installing the housing cover and tightening using the housing cover retaining screws. Reconnect the air inlet hose to the Throttle Body and air cleaner cover by tightening the air inlet hose clamp. Mount and clamp the air intake duct/maf sensor assembly with the air intake duct/maf sensor hose clamps. Lastly, attach the breather tube to the air intake duct, the maf sensor electrical connector, and the iat sensor electrical connector.
