How to replace the rear Trunk Lock Cylinder on Chevrolet Lumina?

Start the replacement process by taking off the rear compartment lid applique. Start by cutting the rivet then removing both the rear compartment lock cylinder and its gasket. Place the rear compartment lock cylinder and gasket onto the rear compartment lid by setting them in position so the lock cylinder shaft hits its specific space. Insert the rivet last and put back the rear compartment lid applique.
