The installation procedure begins by adding engine support fixture (J 28467-360) combined with engine support fixture adapters (J 8467-90) while using engine support adapter leg (J 36462) along with engine support foot modification (J 35953). It is necessary to carefully lift the vehicle while using proper support before unfastening both the right front tire and wheel assembly and the generator and mounting bracket. The engine maintenance requires unfastening the engine mount nuts from the Engine Mount Bracket followed by once more lifting the vehicle to unfasten the transaxle bracket securing bolts and Engine Mount Bracket nuts which are located at the engine. From there, install the rear Engine Mount Bracket by using the bracket to engine retaining bolts before tightening the side of the block engine retaining bolts to 58 nm (43 ft. Lbs.) and the front of the block engine retaining bolts to 102 nm (75 ft. Lbs.). The rear Engine Mount Bracket requires installation of transaxle retaining bolts which need tightening to 75 nm (55 ft. Lbs.). Lower the vehicle while removing the engine support fixture (J 28467-360) and its adapters (J 8467-90), adapter leg (J 36462) and foot modification (J 35953). The engine needs to be lowered before a subsequent vehicle lift to enable rear Engine Mount Bracket nut installation. The installation process requires reapplied generators and right front tire assembly with wheel along with electric engine cooling fan replacement before setting the hood panel.
