The replacement process for the Radiator fan begins with acquiring the required components since these particular elements may come as separate parts including Radiator fan motors, fans, shrouds, and brackets. The first step includes removing a bolt from the a/c line and an air deflector shield. The procedure starts with detaching the electrical harness from the Radiator fan retainers followed by disconnecting the Radiator fan electrical connector. First raise the vehicle while removing the four bolts at the upper fan. First remove the lower closeout panel while you detach the four lower fan bolts which grants access to pull out the fan and fan shroud when they are free from the Radiator. To install the system first secure the fan shroud onto the Radiator while you install the fan on the shroud before torquing all four lower fan bolts to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). After securing the lower closeout panel and lowering the vehicle apply the same torque specification when reattaching the four upper fan bolts.
