How to replace the door lock cylinder on Chevrolet Metro?

The first step to replace the door lock cylinder begins with removing front door trim panels. The door access to the lock cylinder becomes visible by moving the water deflector away from the door. The lock cylinder extraction begins when the lock rod has been detached from the lock cylinder while you also need to remove the retaining clip before pulling out the lock cylinder from the door. Apply the new lock cylinder into the door opening before fastening it with the retaining clip. Reinstall the lock rod to the lock cylinder while applying adhesive to the water deflector's back before putting it into its original position. Install the front door trim panel after finishing the procedure.
