  A: Start the replacement of the compressor hose assembly only after proper refrigerant discharge and recovery. The technician disconnects the refrigerant pressure switch electrical connector before removing the bolt connecting the condenser inlet/outlet. He uses caps to cover open fittings thus blocking dirt and moisture entrance into the refrigeration system. You should slide the plate counterclockwise before removing the discharge hose from the condenser to proceed with independent bolt removal of the compresser hose assembly from the compressor. The suction line needs removal from the accumulator before extracting the compressor hose assembly from the vehicle. To install the compressor hose assembly position it into the vehicle while using new o-rings that received 525 viscosity mineral oil lubrication. Connect the suction line to the accumulator while tightening it at 47 n.m (35 lb ft). Assemble the compressor hose assembly to the compressor before fastening it with the bolt while securing a torque of 47 n.m (35 lb ft). Prepare the compressor discharge by connecting the liquid line to the condenser while positioning the plate clockwise before fastening it with bolt and tightening to 47 n.m (35 lb ft). Connect the refrigerant pressure switch connector while performing an evacuation and recharge process of the refrigerant system.
