How to replace the front door window crank handles on Chevrolet S10?

Before you start replacing the window crank handles you must push the window into its closed position. Insert the Door Handle Clip Remover (J 9886-01) tool between handle and bearing plate and point it towards the handle. Push the tool until the clip disconnects from the plate. You can remove the handle through the door by first disengaging the clip then pulling out the handle. Remove the window regulator and bearing plate with the handle after that. Begin by fixing the bearing plate onto the door surface then secure the window crank handle. Fit the retaining clip to the handle first before connecting the handle to the window regulator shaft which should face forward when installed in the door. Push the handle forward to connect the clip with the shaft.
