To replace the discharge hose (LB7), recover the refrigerant initially. Leak test the fittings after installation using a halogen leak detector (J 39400-A). Start with a removal of the discharge hose mounting bolt from the A/C Compressor and dispose of the bolt. Afterwards, disconnect the discharge hose from A/C Compressor and remove the upper radiator air baffle. Then, remove the discharge hose nut from the condenser and discard it, then remove the discharge hose from the condenser. Disconnect the a/c recirculation switch from discharge hose, remove the discharge hose from the vehicle and discard used sealing washers and cap the system openings. It is time to attach the new discharge hose to the vehicle, and fit the a/c recirculation switch. Mount the discharge hose to the condenser with the new sealing washers; then attach the new discharge hose nut to condenser and tighten to 16n.m (12 lb ft). Re-install the upper radiator air baffle and attach discharge hose to the compressor using new sealing washers. Lastly, attach the new discharge hose mounting bolt to the A/C Compressor and tighten up to 16 n.m (12 lb ft) and evacuate then charge a/c system.
