How to replace the rear Fender Splash Shield on Chevrolet SSR?

Bring the car up onto stands or use any suitable lifting device before beginning the replacement process. Once that's complete, take out the tire and wheel assembly. Following this, unfasten the rear fender splash shield panel retainers and carefully pull the panel from the vehicle. Installation requires you to insert the new rear fender splash shield panel into the wheel opening, fasten it with the retainers, reattach the tire and wheel assembly and bring the vehicle back to a stable height.
