The air compressor/pump service and repair operation starts with vehicle lifting and support ensuring all components remain free from dirt while cleaning the area before disconnecting the Air Hose from the compressor. Disconnect the air tube from both the air dryer and electrical connection followed by air inlet and hose removal from the frame. First remove the frame slots of the air compressor by unscrewing the mounting nuts and pushing the compressor panel back. Position the air compressor in place then move it forward to fasten the frame slots with mounting nuts tightened to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Position the air inlet with hose to the frame's opening while you join the air tube to the air dryer and the electrical wiring. When you turn on the ignition your vehicle needs 45 seconds of standby time for air adjustable Shock Absorber residual pressure fill-up before you can lower it.
