How to replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor and Intake Air Temperature Sensor on Chevrolet Suburban 2500?

In order to replace the mass air flow (MAF) and intake air temperature (IAT) sensor, first and foremost, you have to handle the maf/iat sensor gently to avoid breaking the honeycell at the air inlet end; do not touch the sensing elements or exposed them to touch cleaning solvents or lubricants. Apply a dab of a non-silicone based lubricant on the air duct to help during installation. Start by removing the air intake resonator and then disconnect the maf/iat sensor electrical connector. Loose the clamp holding the maf/iat sensor to the air cleaner housing with the aim of removing the maf/iat sensor from the air cleaner assembly . During installation, direct the embossed arrow on maf/iat sensor toward the engine and have it connect to the air cleaner housing and tighten the clamp. Reconnect the maf/iat electrical connector: reinstall the air intake resonator.
