How to replace the air filter on Chevrolet Suburban 2500?

Start by disconnecting the electrical connector from the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor and then loosening the air duct clamp at the Throttle Body. Begin by removing four fasteners attaching the air cleaner housing top cover and after lifting and rotating this top cover you will access the Air Filter. First step is to remove the Air Filter for an inspection of dust and dirt and water damage. Check the condition of the Air Filter; replace it if needed. To reinstall the Air Filter put it in the air cleaner housing and use fasteners to attach the top cover securely to the housing. Reattach the maf/iat electrical connector while performing a tight clamp on the air duct at the Throttle Body.
