How to replace the air filter element on Cadillac Escalade ESV? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step for replacing the air cleaner is to take off the engine electrical connector from the maf/iat sensor. Loosen the screws of the air cleaner housing and take off the cover to remove the Air Filter. Place the new Air Filter in and cover the housing with the air cleaner cover. Be sure to tighten the air cleaner housing screws with a torque of 3 n.m (27 lb in) and connect the engine harness electrical connector to the maf/iat sensor.

How to replace the air filter on Cadillac Escalade EXT? Posted by Customer
    A:
Remove the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the maf/iat sensor before changing the air cleaner. After that, loosen all the air cleaner housing screws and gently take off the cover to extract the Air Filter. Attach the new Air Filter and afterwards put the air cleaner housing cover back on. Tighten the air cleaner housing screws to 3 n.m (27 lb in), as the fastener notice says. In the last step, attach the wiring harness connector to the maf/iat sensor.

    Q:
How to replace the air filter on Chevrolet Avalanche 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
To change the air cleaner, first, do remove the intake air resonator, and disconnect the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor electrical connector. Then, unscrew the air cleaner housing cover screws then remove the cover so as to remove the air filter. Examine the air filter for dust, dirt, and water, and clean or change it as needed. For installation, install the new air filter in place, place back the air cleaner housing cover then tighten the screws until secure. Finally, connect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector and install the intake air resonator.

    Q:
How to replace the air filter on Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Classic? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start by unclamping the air cleaner outlet duct on the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor and extracting the outlet resonator from the mat/iat sensor. Begin the replacement process by unscrewing all air cleaner cover screws then remove both the cover and Air Filter for renewed installation. Place the new Air Filter inside then install the air cleaner cover following secure tightening of all screws. First install the outlet resonator back onto the mat/iat sensor before tightening the maf/iat sensor's air cleaner outlet duct clamp to 4 n.m (35 lb in).

    Q:
How to replace the air filter on Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Classic? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start the air cleaner replacement by removing the air duct and disconnecting the MAF/IAT sensor's electrical connection. To access the air filter you must first remove the air cleaner housing cover after loosening the housing top screws. New air filters must be installed in the housing while you reattach the air cleaner housing cover which requires tightness control of the air cleaner housing top screws. To finish the procedure you need to secure the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector while putting back the air cleaner outlet duct.

    Q:
How to service the Air Filter element on Chevrolet Tahoe? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start the Air Filter service by loosening the air duct clamp at the Throttle Body and disconnecting the electrical connector from the maf/iat sensor. The air cleaner housing top cover must be unfastened by the 4 securing fasteners before the top cover can be lifted up for inspection of the Air Filter. Inspect the Air Filter by removing it from its position before checking for dust, dirt, or water damage. Decide whether to clean or replace the filter as needed. To install the air cleaner component you should first place the Air Filter into the housing, then rotate and install the top cover before fastening it securely with the appropriate hardware. Reverse the maf/iat electrical connection while performing a clamp adjustment to the air duct at the Throttle Body.

    Q:
How to replace the air filter on GMC Yukon XL 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
The process starts with a clamp loosening on the Throttle Body air duct and the removal of power from the maf/iat sensor's electrical connection. Access the Air Filter by first loosening the 4 fasteners on the air cleaner housing top cover then lifting and rotating the top cover to view the filter. Take the Air Filter out for inspection to remove dust and dirt or moisture while deciding whether to clean or replace it. Install the Air Filter into the air cleaner housing then rotate and reposition the top cover before fastening it. The maf/iat electronic connector needs to be reattached while you tighten the duct clamp at the Throttle Body location.
