Chevrolet Tahoe Blower Motor Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to Replace a Blower Motor in a Delphi System on Chevrolet Tahoe?
A: Start your work by removing the sound insulator panel when it comes with your vehicle. Start by releasing the screws that hold the blower motor insulating cover and separate the electrical connector from the blower motor. You can remove the blower motor by first taking off its insulation cover. Push down on the retaining tab followed by rotating the motor counterclockwise from the heater/ventilation module to finish extraction. Set the new blower motor in place and rotate it clockwise until the retaining tab clicks into position. Install the insulating cover first before plugging the electrical connector into the blower motor. Secure its support screws by turning them until they reach 1.6 N.m (14 lb in). Reattach the sound insulators when the system has them.
