How to replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor and Intake Air Temperature Sensor on Chevrolet Tahoe?

In order to replace the mass air flow (MAF) and intake air temperature (IAT) sensor, first carefully manipulate the sensor so that you don't break the honeycell at the leading end (air inlet) and avoid any contact with the sensing elements with cleaning solvents or lubricants. Apply a little bit of a non-silicone based lubricant on the air duct to help with installation. Start by removing the air intake resonator, disconnect the maf/iat sensor electrical connector, loosen maf/iat sensor clamp attached to the air cleaner housing, and remove the sensor from the air cleaner assembly. For installation, make sure that you place the embossed arrow on the maf/iat sensor facing the engine, then fix the sensor onto the air cleaner housing by tightening the clamp, reconnect the electrical connector, and then re-put the air intake resonator back.
