Chevrolet Tracker EGR Valve Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to replace the EGR valve on Chevrolet Tracker?
A: The first step to replace the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve requires disconnecting its electrical connector. Both retaining bolts need removal before extracting the EGR Valve. Use a brush to remove all residue from the EGR Valve Gasket present on the Intake Manifold. Mount a new EGR Valve Gasket while following the installation stages of the EGR Valve. By applying the instructions from the fastener notice in service precautions you must tighten both retaining bolts to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Reconnection of the EGR Valve electrical connector ends the cleaning process.
