How to replace the rear brake disc on Chevrolet Uplander?

Raising your vehicle and supporting it underneath marks the first step to replace the rear Brake Disc. Take off the tire and wheel setup. Hook up heavy mechanic wire or an alternative to support the brake caliper whenever you disconnect it at the mount position during maintenance on the hydraulic flexible brake hose to avoid damage. Use a wrench to remove the caliper bracket bolts then take out the brake caliper assembly and its bracket together from the knuckle while keeping hydraulic brake tension off the hose. Use a socket to take out the Brake Disc retaining screw. When needed pull the disc straight out while gently turning it.
