To work on the front wheel bearing/hub start by lifting and holding the vehicle. First detach the wheel wheel speed sensor electrical connector at its bracket before taking out the wheel and tire assembly. Dismantle the Brake Caliper Bracket and brake caliper together as part of the process. After that remove the brake rotor. Mount the j 28733-b front hub spindle remover (J 28733-B) on the wheel bearing/hub with three wheel nuts after removing the drive shaft nut. Position the j 28733-b device to push the wheel drive shaft out of the wheel bearing/hub unit before you remove and discard the wheel bearing/hub bolts to retain the wheel drive shaft outer seal. Install the new wheel bearing/hub but use new bolts to lower the chance of losing vehicle control or being hurt. After tightening new wheel bearing/hub bolts to 130 nm (96 ft. Lbs.) you must install wheel drive shaft nut, brake rotor, brake caliper bracket along with brake caliper. Be sure the bracket connector locks in place and fasten the wheel speed sensor connector to the bracket. Afterward plug in the wheel speed sensor electrical connector. After installing the tire and wheel you can put the vehicle back on its usual height.
