How to replace the 2-3 Shift Solenoid Valve on Chevrolet Uplander?

A mechanic must begin replacement of the 2-3 Shift Solenoid valve by taking off the case side cover. Begin the replacement by disconnecting transaxle wiring followed by using a small screwdriver or pick to remove the 2-3 Shift Solenoid valve retainer (314C) from control Valve Body (301). The 2-3 Shift Solenoid (315B) should be removed and the o-ring seal (316) should be extracted from the 2-3 Shift Solenoid valve (315B) depending on whether the o-ring is damaged. The installation requires replacement of the old o-ring with a new o-ring seal (316) for the 2-3 Shift Solenoid valve (315B). Insert the 2-3 Shift Solenoid (315B) together with the 2-3 Shift Solenoid valve retainer (314C) inside the control Valve Body (301). At the end install the case side cover after reconnecting the transaxle wiring harness.
