How to replace the MAP Sensor on Chevrolet Venture?

The ignition needs to be turned off before starting replacement of the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor. You need to remove the screws which hold the MAP sensor bracket before disconnecting the electrical connector and MAP vacuum hose. First attach the new MAP sensor to its bracket then reconnect both MAP inlet vacuum hose and MAP sensor electrical connector. Secure the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in) torque but always refer to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
