How to service the MAP Sensor on 2000 Chevrolet Venture?

For servicing of the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor, first, switch OFF the ignition. Unscrew/remove the attaching bolt/screws, unplug the MAP sensor electrical connector and the MAP inlet vacuum hose. Once done, take out the MAP sensor from the bracket. Map sensor installation: Install the MAP sensor back on the bracket, then reattach the MAP inlet vacuum hose, as well as reattach the MAP sensor electrical connector. Before installing the bolts/screws, it is also essential to follow the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions, where the bolts/screws are to be tightened to a level of 3 N.m (27 lb in).
