How to replace the MAP Sensor on GMC Acadia?

The first step of MAP sensor replacement requires removal of the fuel injector sight shield. First disconnect the MAP sensor wiring harness electrical connector from the MAP sensor before removing both the MAP sensor bolt and sensor. Before sensor installation apply clean engine oil to the new MAP sensor O-ring seal. The MAP sensor installation requires you to tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in) torque. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the MAP sensor then replace the fuel injector sight shield.
