During installation you must use the anti-seize compound gm p/n 12377953 on the old sensor threads when reusing it since new sensors arrive with pre-applied coating. Install the ho2s to the Exhaust Pipe then use torque to a maximum of 42 n.m (31 lb ft). The installation process requires reconnecting the ho2s electrical connector between the engine wiring harness electrical connector before returning the cpa retainer and lowering the vehicle.
