  A: Start by using the hydraulic clutch line separator (J 42371) to push back the white plastic sleeve along the quick connect to detach the hydraulic Clutch Hose from its clutch actuator connection point. Start by pushing a flat tool beneath the Clutch Master Cylinder push rod and clutch pedal until the retainer detaches from the clutch pedal pin. Then use the tool to pry away the push rod from the clutch pedal assembly before discarding the retainer. Follow these steps: raise the vehicle and disconnect the hydraulic Clutch Hose retainer from the inner fender before lowering down the car. A clockwise 1/8 turn rotation of the Clutch Master Cylinder enables removal of both components with attached hydraulic hose from the vehicle's cowl. Install the Clutch Master Cylinder with its reservoir cap at the 1:30 position before sliding it under the brake booster into the cowl position.
