The necessary tools required for replacing rear Axle Shaft seal or bearing comprise j 8092 universal driver handle (J 8092), j 21128 axle pinion oil seal installer (J 21128), j 23690 bearing installer (J 23690), j 2619-01 slide hammer (J 2619-01), and j 44685 rear axle seal and bearing remover (J 44685). Start the procedure by lifting the vehicle while you take off the wheel and tire then the Axle Shaft. The removal process of the Axle Shaft bearing and seal requires both the j 44685 (J 44685) and j 2619-01 (J 2619-01). The j 23690 (J 23690) and j 8092 (J 8092) tools should be used for installing the axle bearing followed by the j 21128 (J 21128) to install the Axle Shaft seal. Installation of the Axle Shaft should be performed first then followed by installation of the tire and wheel assembly. After completing this task you should lower the vehicle while filling the rear axle with the necessary axle lubricant.
