How to Replace an Antenna Cable for Extension Cable on GMC Savana 1500?

To replace an antenna cable, the radio and mount bracket need to be removed, thus followed by the engine cover. Take out the antenna cable from the retaining clips on the instrument panel carrier and remove from the vehicle. Disconnect the antenna cable connector at the lower right of the instrument panel. For installation, you can start with installing the antenna cable back into the vehicle and then secure it to retaining clips in the Instrument Panel Carrier. Disconnect the antenna cable connector at the lower right corner of the instrument panel and reinstall the engine cover, then the radio mounting bracket and radio.
