    In order to replace an Antenna Cable the first thing to do will be the removal or unscrewing and removing the Antenna mast. Route the Antenna Base cable grommet through the firewall and transfer the Antenna Base cable to the Antenna extension cable and replace it. Thuisontvangst open the hood to gain access to the Antenna Cable/base, then remove the Antenna collar and the Antenna Cable/base bolts before removing the Antenna Cable/base from the vehicle. For installation, start by putting back the fixed Antenna Cable/base but make sure to follow the fastener notice in service precautions. Even out the angle iron with grinder and bolt on the Antenna Cable/base mounting bolts (using a torque wrench) to 11 n.m (97 lb in). Route the Antenna Base cable under the a/c case, and through the hole in the firewall, and install and seat the Antenna Cable grommet. Reinstall the Antenna collar and hook the Antenna Base cable to the Antenna extension cable. Lastly, it is a good idea to re-fit passenger side hinge pillar trim and Antenna mast.

    To switch out the Antenna cable, 1st unscrew the Antenna mast off and take it off, then politely disjoined the Antenna base cable of progression from the Antenna extention cable. Push out the Antenna base cable grommet through the firewall and open the hood to get access to Antenna cable/base. Take off the Antenna collar and the Antenna cable/base bolts , and pull the Antenna cable/base out the vehicle. For installation, start with a specification for the fixed Antenna cable/base and the Antenna cable/base mounting bolts graduating them to 11 n.m (97 lb in). Run the Antenna base cable behind the a/c case, and thread it through the hole in the firewall, and mount and seat the Antenna cable grommet through the firewall. Then install the Antenna collar , plug in the Antenna base cable to the Antenna extension cable , install the passenger side hinge pillar trim and then install the Antenna mast .
