How to replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor on GMC Savana 1500?

You need to start by shutting off ignition power when replacing the mass air flow (MAF) sensor and then disconnect the maf sensor harness connector. Remove the maf sensor by carefully taking it out from between the air intake ducts after you loosen its clamps. The new maf sensor must have flow arrows facing away from the air cleaner assembly during installation. Position the maf sensor inside the air intake ducts before securing the clamps at a torque of 4 n.m (35 lb in). The maf sensor harness connector must be connected at last.
