In order to replace the wiper motor, get the following tools: Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232) and Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529). Start to pull off the wiper arms and the grille panel that is used for the air inlet. Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper motor and remove the four bolts, which will secure wiper system drive module, then the module you remove. Use the Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232) to disconnect the drive link from the wiper motor crank arm supported by the two bolts and then removing them which hold the place of the wiper motor this will take the wiper motor out of the wiper drive system module. The wiper motor model to be installed should be mounted at the wiper drive system module provided there are two bolts to secure it, and the Torque shall be set at 8 N.m (71 lb in). Mount the drive link to the wiper motor crank arm with the help of the Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529), then put the wiper drive system module back into the car and fix it with the help of the four bolts (torque to 8 N.m (71 lb in))) as well. Reattach the electical connector to wiper motor, reassemble the air inlet grille panel and the wiper arms. Finally, turn on the wiper to see if it works properly.
