How to replace the MAP Sensor on GMC Savana 2500?

You need to remove the engine cover before starting the manifold absolute pressure sensor replacement process. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector and pull the MAP Sensor away from its position on the Intake Manifold. The MAP Sensor seal requires application of clean engine oil before putting in the new sensor. Affix the MAP Sensor onto the upper Intake Manifold after connecting its electrical connector to the sensor. Finally, reinstall the engine cover.
