The egr pipe replacement process starts by uninstalling the
EGR Valve before disconnecting the egr pipe to
Intake Manifold fasteners along with the egr pipe to
Exhaust Manifold fasteners and the egr pipe mounting fasteners on the right Cylinder Head. The egr pipe can then be removed. Placing the egr pipe requires installation of the egr pipe mounting fasteners to the right Cylinder Head at 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Fasten first the egr pipe to Exhaust Manifold with 25 n.m torque (18 lb ft), then proceed to the egr pipe to Intake Manifold fasteners that require a torque of 12 n.m (106 lb in). Reinstall the EGR Valve after which you need to install the air intake duct.
