The pump installation begins by removing its mounting plate bolt. Then take out the pump from its position. The starting point for replacement involves installing the AIR pump according to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. After mounting the AIR pump the mounting bolt requires tightening to 17 N.m (13 lb ft). To finish the installation process connect the AIR pump harness connector with the AIR output hose to the AIR valve.
