Start replacing the windshield washer solvent container by putting your vehicle on a proper support. Take both the front wheel and the wheelhouse liner from the left side of the vehicle. Lower the vehicle first by removing the lower outer bolt of the washer container. Pull the
Washer Pump hoses (1, 2) at both ends from their mating position on the left fender flange and electrical junctions. Lower the vehicle at the
Hood Latch position and open the hood before removing the windshield washer solvent cap. Uninstall the additional battery tray when present. Remove the washer compartment from beneath the vehicle through the wheelhouse entrance while also unscrewing the windshield washer solvent container bolts and its assembly above. Collect the windshield washer solvent into a proper cleaned receptacle. Install the washer components into the new washer solvent container and place the windshield washer container assembly. Tighten the upper windshield washer bolts to 9 nm (80 lb in). Reinstall the battery tray accessory and link all power connections before attaching the washer pumps hoses 1 and 2. Add the lower washer container bolt to its space along with both front wheelhouse and wheel assemblies. Put waterproof solvent in the washer tank before attaching the windshield solvent cover.
