  • Q: How to replace the Coolant Pipe for the Radiator Surge Tank Inlet (Non-HP2) on GMC Sierra 3500 Classic?
    A:
Make sure to drain the cooling system before you replace the Radiator surge tank inlet hose/pipe (Non-HP2). After that, lift the surge tank inlet hose clamp off the Radiator and take out the surge tank inlet hose from the Radiator. Then, move the surge tank inlet hose clamp to the surge tank and take out the surge tank inlet hose from it. The first step for installation is to put the surge tank inlet hose onto the surge tank and secure it with the surge tank inlet hose clamp on the tank. After, attach the surge tank inlet hose to the Radiator and place the clamp for the hose onto the Radiator. Finally, fill the cooling system.
