How to replace the radiator for the 4.3, 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0L engines on GMC Sierra 3500 Classic?

The Radiator replacement process for 4.3, 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0l engines requires fans and shroud removal before disconnecting the unique outlet hose for either the 4.3l or the 4.8l, 5.3l and 6.0l engines. First disconnect the engine oil cooler lines that feed the Radiator before removing the transmission oil cooler lines in vehicles so equipped. The Radiator removal process starts with loosening its bolts before extracting the appliance. Position the Radiator correctly following the noted procedure before tightening its bolts to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Installation of the transmission oil cooler lines occurs after connecting to the Radiator (if present), followed by engine oil coolers (if present) before reinstalling the cooling fan.
